diverse choices quiet ambiance friendly staff
The staff displayed great warmth. i remember an abundant breakfast offered diverse choices, with pleasant seating available both indoors and out. the italian restaurant stands out. It features excellent cuisine and friendly staff, i extend my compliments to the chef. there are two lovely swimming pools, one offers a particularly quiet ambiance.
the gym equipment could use a little updating.

the location has convenient access to both the pier and the skytrain, it allows easy exploration of key sights. the hotel is situated beautifully on the banks of the river, a picturesque spot.

river location ample breakfast unkempt pool stained sunbeds
the location provided easy access to the river and nearby attractions. the hotel offered boat services to iconsiam. the breakfast buffet was ample.
The pool area looked faded, also unkempt. I noted it was in need of cleaning. the sunbeds looked stained. The wooden decks needed replacement.

nice stay!
convenient location easy access bts skytrain ferry pier
the hotel's location is convenient , offering easy access to the bts skytrain and ferry pier. the horizon lounge provided good food and drinks. i particularly appreciated the tip to stay in the shangri-la wing. walking through to the other wing on the 3rd floor provided direct access to the ferry and bts station, avoiding the heat.
i found the breakfast outlet a bit far from the main building , requiring a slightly longer walk each morning.

the staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting with directions and information. i needed to find the atm , and an employee escorted me to the location. the concierge helped arrange transport and vip tickets for muay thai.

the room had a nice view of the river and was fully satisfying. i stayed in a premier balcony king room, specifically room 818. it was located at the end with big windows, even in the bathroom beside the bathtub.

the breakfast buffet offered a large selection with asian and western choices. the pool area had many sunbeds for relaxation. the hotel provides a free shuttle boat to icon siam every hour. it was convenient.
the hotel might have been considered a five-star hotel many years ago, now it seems dated. the carpets in the rooms seemed old, and it was apparent they needed replacement. there were no usb plugs next to the bed, it was inconvenient.
